This week, we have been discussing the five You Can Do It pillars. The qualities of Confidence, Organisation, Resilience, Getting Along and Persistence have been covered this week and we discussed ways in which we can be a You Can Do It person. Welcome back 5/6 GA!

I hope you had a lovely holiday and are back and ready for the year ahead.

I had a lovely time on my holidays. My highlight would have to be landscaping my front yard.

We started with a very empty and boring garden with the aim of making our garden attractive and pleasing to the eye.

Firstly, we did some measurements in our garden and then used Paint on the computer to plan the design of the garden, this also helped us budget and plan the expenses associated with landscaping.

We then planted a hedge and some other plants and made sections in the garden with wood to separate the different plants. Then we covered the ground with red tan bark and black and white rocks.

Now, we are so proud of our garden and we water it every night. On the weekends, I go and trim the plants this is training to make a hedge.
