Welcome back 5/6 GA!
I hope you had a lovely holiday and are back and ready for the year ahead.
I had a lovely time on my holidays. My highlight would have to be landscaping my front yard.
We started with a very empty and boring garden with the aim of making our garden attractive and pleasing to the eye.
Firstly, we did some measurements in our garden and then used Paint on the computer to plan the design of the garden, this also helped us budget and plan the expenses associated with landscaping.
We then planted a hedge and some other plants and made sections in the garden with wood to separate the different plants. Then we covered the ground with red tan bark and black and white rocks.
Now, we are so proud of our garden and we water it every night. On the weekends, I go and trim the plants this is training to make a hedge.

On my holidays I did a lot of things.
But the best part was when my little sister was born!
I was so excited!
She is now two and a half old!

Hi Miss A,
I had a fantastic holiday, my highlight was celebrating Australia Day with my awesome family and friends. We also hired a jumping castle and it was the best. I really enjoyed my holiday and I couldn’t have had a better holiday.
How long did it take you to make your garden they way it is now?

I had a great time on the holidays. First, I went to Kryle Castle where we saw what it was like in the medieval times. Then, we went to the race tracks in Ballarat where I met Sparky the horse and he came 5th place in his race which is pretty good for a horse who is 3 years old. I also went to Soverign Hill were we found a little bit of gold. I also stayed in a hotel for the night. The beds were really comfortable.

My holiday was so fun because I went to my beach house, but I also had to spend it with my ANNOYING cousins.We went to the beach every single day, it was so fun I even saw a pretty little fish, but every time my cousins went closer it attacked.

Sounds like you had a busy holiday! I had lots of fun in my holiday, I did many things in my holidays. I went to many places with my family and my family friends to many great places. We went to the Enchanted Maze Garden. We bought lots of lollies from the lolly shop. We did tree surfing and lots of mazes. Our favourite thing at Enchanted Maze Garden was the slide. It was a massive slide with people sliding on these soft things. Although there were many things I did, this was just some of my highlights of my holiday.

Loving your new front yard! During the holidays, I went to Adventure Park in Geelong. I really enjoyed going with my friends, two brothers, my cousin and my mother. I love going down the Aqua Slide and racing my friends and cousin, but I always win.=)
A few weeks later, I went fishing at Marysville with my family. I caught 3 fish and my one of my brother caught 5 fish and my other one caught 4 fish. I caught a really big trout but we couldn’t finish eating it, so we decided to share it with the other people.
Both of these were my summer holiday highlights. I hope everyone has a great year in 2015! 😉

During the holidays I went to Noble Park swimming pool. Let me tell you about the swimming and what I did.
I went to Noble Park swimming pool on a hot day. I can’t remember when, but I only remember that I went on a hot day. My family, two brothers and mum went to the swimming pool with me after lunch. My dad couldn’t come because he was working on the holidays!
When we entered through the doors of the outdoor pool, my two brothers saw his friend. My brother played with his friend. His friend has a brother which is my other brother’s friend. My mother and I entered the outdoor pool but she said it was too cold so we went to the indoor pool. It was really warm. We stayed at the pool for about two or three hours.

On the holidays I did a lot of things but the to place that I had the most fun was and the zoo.
At the zoo we saw all the animals except the reptiles because when we go camping we always see them. My favourite animal was the elephants.

This holiday I went to Vietnam. At Vietnam I went to Bana hills. Bana hills has the longest cable car it is 5km long and takes 30 minutes to get up. Up there they have rides like bumper cars a ride that goes up and down a lot I meen a lot so fast and arcade games and that’s most of my holiday.

My favorite part of my holiday was when I went to Queensland to go to Movie World. I went on the Superman ride with my brother, Ryan. The ride was so scary that when they took the picture, it looked like I was crying. I am looking forward to 2015.

On my holiday I went to the beach for my sisters and my cousin birthday, it was the best, the big kids got to jump off the pier, I was nervous at first but I got over it after the second time. We at the cakes at home it was delicious.
I also went to the pools, it was ok but I almost drowned. My cousins were all there. There were 2 groups there was the older kids and the was the younger kids. The older kids went into the big pool and the younger ones went into the small pool. It was not better than the beach but it was fun!

It is such a great day!
On the holidays I watched the Hobbit in gold class with my mum, dad, aunty, uncle, grandma and papa. It was great!
My favourite part was when Smuag came and burned the river village to ash.

On the holidays I went to the movies to watch The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armys my favorite part was when the dragon Smaug destroyed the village.
